Volunteer
Fundación Casa Cultural La Chispa accepts national and international volunteers annually between the dates of March 1st and November 30th. In your application, please list your proposed dates within that time frame, keeping in mind visa limitations if you are not a Colombian citizen.
Required:
Spanish fluency
Willingness to live temporarily in Colombia and legal ability to do so (tourist visa or other)
Willingness to work on a team and participate in various types of work during your time as a volunteer
Willingness to commit at least three months to this volunteer opportunity
Preferred:
Work and/or volunteer experience in Latin America, particularly Colombia
Work and/or volunteer experience in social movements and human rights
Experience living in conflict or post-accord zones
Work or living experience in collectives or organizations with horizontal working structures
Please note:
The majority of foreign tourist visas are 90 days
Specific hours for volunteers will be agreed upon throughout the interview process
